Join Us to Empower Women & Girls

Empower Women & Girls to better understand themselves through exploring the mother-daughter relationship.

By partnering with individual mental health professionals and non-profits who focus on empowering women and girls by exploring family dynamics, Look At Us Now, Mother! is building a movement.

Our outreach involves a character driven documentary story about a mother and daughter, their conflicts and their journey to forgiveness and healing. The film acts as a platform for examining this powerful, and sometimes challenging relationship, which connects back generations within the family.

Strengthening Identity & Self Esteem

Look At Us Now, Mother! is proud to partner with individuals and organizations to broaden female empowerment through community screenings, workshops, presentations for private companies, non-profits, educational institutions, and conferences. Through this work we will bring to light how everyone can better understand themselves, our loved ones and women in society at large through looking at the family and the women within it.

Knowledge is power, and education around where women’s and girl’s sense of identity and self-worth stem from, are keys to healthy relationships, healing from old wounds and building of self assurance and success.

We are honored to count the following professionals and organizations as partners:

Bonnie Harris

Bonnie Harris is the director of Connective Parenting. She counsels and teaches parents internationally with the mission of encouraging connection between parents and their children (something Gayle lacked as a child). Her two books are When Your Kids Push Your Buttons and Confident Parents, Remarkable Kids: 8 Principles for Raising Kids You’ll Love to Live With. Bonnie and Gayle met early in the production of Look at Us Now, Mother! and immediately connected over their similar missions and goals—both being at opposite ends of the very same spectrum. Bonnie is thoroughly supportive of Gayle's project no matter what trajectory it takes. They hope to work together to heal the world. Bonnie’s website is bonnieharris.com and facebook.com/connectiveparenting is her connective parenting Facebook page.
