Craig and Becky met on a website for Little People. They fell in love, married soon after and then Becky found out she was pregnant . . . sooner than she expected. She was quite concerned about carrying a baby due to her form of dwarfism. For a little person like Becky with pseudoachondroplasia dwarfism and her husband, Craig, an achondroplasia dwarf, they have a 75% chance of giving birth to a dwarf.

LITTLE PARENTS, BIG PREGNANCY steps into their lives as Becky is in her trimester. We follow them through the birth of their son, Charlie, offering an insightful look at how a dwarf couple handles the universal stress of adjusting to parenthood.

BACKGROUND from Gayle Kirschenbaum

I met with Discovery Health to learn what kind of programming they
were looking for. While in the meeting I thought of the concept "the journey of dwarfs becoming parents". There was definite interest, however, the show depended on finding the participants. I had limited time since Discovery Health was only commissioning new programs for the following few months. The challenge was to find a "little people" couple who were already pregnant, interested in being in a television show and of course, dynamic themselves. With the help of new friends who are experts about "dwarfism", I got shepharded into the world I knew little about and soon found the Hennons and several other dwarf families. It's been an amazing journey stepping into the Hennon's life. Stay tuned for this one hour special and more to follow.
